Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

An imaginative landscape chart generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:

You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an donation allocation menu immediately below, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
